Our practice shows, every person can become an experienced yachtsman. So, to find out in detail what sailing is, you don’t have to spend a huge amount of money on offshore trips. It is enough to enrol in GC’s basic sailing course.

The GC’s basic sailing course takes you through the intermediate level. For a certain amount of time you will get basic theoretical knowledge and training basic practical skills for yacht steering. Moreover, Good Captain sailing school offers the uniq possibility to save time and money!

Course outline

The schedule – 2 full days or 4 half-day, is designed to be also suitable for people who can not afford yachting during weekdays, but can devote themselves entirely to sailing at the weekend.

Therefore, the basic course includes two main parts: theoretical lessons and practical lessons. As during the sessions you will learn how yacht is built and what types of yachts are exist. And we will consider how to moor and handle rigging, and how to work with sails.

And, after completing the course in Good Captain, you will cease afraid of the complex Nautical terminology. In other words, you will know at all times what exactly is happening on the boat and you will always be ready to board the yacht and sailing.
